College Park Mall was designed while acting as the principle architect in a predecessor firm. The design started with the exercise of trying to sustain as much building area as possible based on City parking requirements and the restrictions imposed by street access.

College Park Mall borrows ideas from a much smaller building nearby which visually has been quite successful in the manner of eave treatment and 2nd story gables. Here the clock tower acts a civic gesture to anchor the building in the community of Abbotsford B.C. by giving it a unique neighbourhood identity.
